The Pollux and Fluhalp team had the chance to visit the unique vineyard of GAJA in Barbaresco. It was an unique experience. We learned a lot about the production of the famous GAJA wines and we also saw how much work and enthusiasm are behind these wonderful wines. There are so many factors that influence the quality of the wine (climate, insects, flowers, temperature of the soil etc.). All of us were fascinated by the professionalism and passion of the GAJA „family“. We already have a lot of GAJA wines on our wine list in the Pollux and especially on the Fluhalp. We would be happy to welcome you once in our bar, restaurant or mountain restaurant for a good bottle of GAJA wines. We can also tell you some little stories about the different wines. So pass by for a little chat or a good bottle of wine.

Their goal: the summit of the only 4,000-metre mountain in the Swiss Alps that had not yet been climbed. The day, and with it Edward Whymper, would go down in history.
